Biological Activity:Pterosin B, a indanone found in bracken fern (Pteridium aquilinum), is an inhibitor of salt-inducible kinase 3 (Sik3) signaling. Pterosin B prevents chondrocyte hypertrophy and osteoarthritis in mice by inhibiting Sik3[2].
